- II. Rarely in an indirect interrog., whether: scire sane velim, numquid necesse sit, comitiis esse Romae, Cic. Att. 12, 8: si dubitare coeperit, numquid testatus decesserit, vel numquid vivat, Dig. 38, 15, 2.
