2. ab-dīco, xi, ctum, 3, v. a. A word peculiar to augural and judicial lang. (opp. addīco).

- II. In judicial lang.: abdicere vindicias ab aliquo, to take away by sentence (= abjudicare), Dig. 1, 2, 24 (cf. Liv. 3, 56, 4).
