ambĭ-fārĭus, a, um, adj. [cf. the Gr. δι-φάσιος, τρι-φάσιος, and v. aliquot-fariam], that has two sides, of double meaning, ambiguous (only post-class.): fabulae, Arn. p. 181: obtentio, id. p. 182.
Hence,
