Cătătexĭtechnŏs, i, m., = Κατατηξιτεχνος (he who enervates art by excessive polishing), an epithet of the artist Callimachus, Plin. 34, 8, 19, § 92 (in Vitr. 4, 1, Cătătechnŏs = Κατάτεχνος; cf. Sillig, Catal. Artif. pp. 123-128).
