mālŏbăthron (mālŏbăthrum), i, n., = μαλόβαθρον.

  2. II. Transf., the oil procured from this plant, malobathrum: coronatus nitentes Malobathro Syrio capillos, Hor. C. 2, 7, 7; also used in medicine, Cels. 5, 23; Plin. 23, 4, 48, § 93.
