At its mouth was situated the city Hĕlōrus (El-), i, f., Liv. 24, 35 init.; Plin. 32, 2, 7, § 16; the vale of which was called Hĕlōrĭa Tempē, Ov. F. 4, 477; and the inhabitants, Hĕlōrīni (El-), Cic. Verr. 2, 3, 43, § 103.
