Hippŏmĕnēis, ĭdis, f., = Ἱππομενηΐς, Limone, a daughter of Hippomenes of Athens, who, as a punishment for unchastity, was thrown by her father to a horse to be devoured, Ov. Ib. 337; cf. id. ib. 461 (al. Hippomeneia).
