lăsarpīcĭfer, fĕra, fĕrum, adj. [lasarpicium for laserpicium-fero], bearing or producing assafœtida, Cat. 7, 4.

lāser (lāsar), ĕris, n., the juice of the plant laserpitium, assafœtida.
